| A beautiful solid calcite ammonite with sculptured matrix at its side. This really nice 170 million year old fossil will make a wonderful and unique display piece for either the home or indeed for the collector. The matrix has a cut base for upright display. The ammonite was discovered in 1984 by the late John ~Huxtable, during a temporary exposure. Many hours of preparation has been ivested into this fossil.
