description |
|
This highly aesthetic small split nodule is absolutely packed with solid yellow calcite ammonites, each one with an immaculate centre. The specimen was discovered during a temporary exposure in 2009 and is approximately 200 million years old. A very rare piece for the discerning collector and very much like the so called original "Marston Marble". Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
