| description |
|
| This exceptionally rare Gault Clay ammonite has been preserved in solid iron pyrite and has a lovely centre. As we are aware, only a dozen or so of this type of ammonite has ever been documented. It was discovered in 1973 and made up part of the Underhill collection. One for the serious collector of incredibly rare Gault Clay material. The ammonite comes in a lovely display transparent case. Approximately 108 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
