| description |
|
| This stunning black shelled Parkinsonia is approximately 167 million years old and makes a unique and magnificent display piece for either the discerning collector or an interior designer looking to achieve that extra something around the home or office space. High quality large specimens such as this one are very rare to find thesedays from this world famous oolithic locality. There are also a small cluster of Bivalves (Sphaeroidothyris Sphaeroidalis) and the tip of a belemnite preserved, which adds to the overall aesthetics. The matrix has a flat base and attached is an anti slip and scratch pad for peace of mind when displaying on fragile surfaces. Many hours of preparation has gone into this magnificent fossil by Andy Cowap and te finder was David Sole circa 2010. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
