| description |
|
| This large specimen has been preserved in various shades of light brown calcite and has an immaculate centre. The
ammonite was discovered circa 2010 on the famous stretch of beach that Mary Anning used to fossil collect over 200 years ago! There are also three Promicroceras ammonites preserved. Very few Asteroceras this size are found each year from this world famous locality. The ammonite has been fully prepared and the matrix has a cut flat base and attached to the base is an anti slip and scratch pad for peace of mind when displaying on fragile surfaces. An absolutely stunning display piece either for the home or indeed office space. Approximately 200 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
