This highly sought after nautilus from the Eocene of Sheppey has most of its original shell preserved and in places, shows natural irridescence, which is mainly pink and green in colours. The specimen was discovered in 1979 and has remained in the same collection ever since. There are many collectors of UK fossil nautilus who will have one of these specimens on their wish list. A classic rarity. Approximately 55 million years old. |
