| This half nautilus is approximately 200 million years old and has been ground gem smooth, and finally a high polish applied revealing lovely colours and open chambers. Each chamber is packed with thousands of tiny brown calcite crystals, there is even part of the Nautilus siphuncle preserved. The matrix has a cut base for upright display.
