This fossil coral has wonderful detail and was discovered circa 1973 from a locality which is no longer accessible to collect. Favosites is an extinct genus of tabulate coral which have honeycomb-like openings (Coralites). The coral specimen is approximately 430 million years old. A lovely drawer fossil for the collector.
