description |
|
This lovely preserved juvenile goniatite was discovered circa 1961 and resided in Manchester Museum (Williamson building), as a teaching aid for students, it still retains its original number. It became surplus to their requirements and found its way into a carefully curated Castleton collection. Next to the goniatite lies a detailed piece of Fenestella cf.plebeia, a Bryozoan. A really good fossil for the collector which is approximately 345 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premuium collectors website. |
