| This extremely well preserved Brittlestar was discovered over forty years ago in 1983 and has just recently been fully prepared. Many hours of preparation have been invested into this wonderful fossil. All the Brittlestar's arms are complete and its surface markings are absolutely stunning. The specimen lies in a shaped piece of hard siltstone and is approximately 190 million years old. Complete fossil Brittlestars are incredibly difficult to obtain thesedays, especially ones of superior quality such as this one.
