description |
|
This very rare Kimmeridgian ammonite was initially discovered b y Mark Varah, who has dedicated most of his life to ammonite research. The ammonite formerly resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection since 1993. Very few of this type of ammonite with this quality came from this temporary locality in Chippenham. Serious collectors will appreciate how rare this Kimmeridgian ammonite is. An important drawer specimen. Approximately 155 million years old. |
