| description |
|
| This incredibly rare Oxfordian ammonite has an immaculate centre and striking suture patterns. One side of the ammonite is mainly fully shelled with natural irridescent patches, the other side has been prepared to reveal stunning sutures. There is a small patch of restoration on its venter, but his does not detract from this wonderful ammonite. This ammonite resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. Approximately 163 million years old. Collected in 1991. One for the discerning collector. |
