This marvellous Theropod Dinosaur foot impression also has the claw marks preserved! Its one of the finest and clearest dinosaur footprints we have come across from this famous locality on the Yorkshire coast. The specimen lies in an aesthetic piece of hard sandstone and would look stunning on display in a home or office environment. It was discovered in 2009 and recovered before the tide had chance to destroy this one. The Megalosaurus was a bipedal large carniferous dinosaur which roamed these mudflats around 160 million years ago. This fossil resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. A display stand accompanies this superb fossil footprint. Please note this is the actual impression of the foot and not the cast. |
