| description |
|
| This is such a rarity for a Harpoceras, the Aptychus (ammonite's jaw apparatus) have been preserved more or less in life position within the ammonites living chamber. A really scientific fossil for the collector or academic. Approximately 180 million years old. This specimen was collected in 1968. It resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. A stunning rarity. |
