description |
|
This wonderfully preserved Harpoceras has taken many hours to prepare and the last sutur5es are in full relief (The cat's paws). The ammonite has been left on a piece of aesthetic matrix which has a level base for upright display. This locality doesn't welcome collecting anymore, so these lovely upper liassic ammonites will become rare in the future. It resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. Approximately 182 million years old. |
