| description |
|
| This ammonite is completely matrix free and was discovered in 1998. The colours and sutures are really nice and it has an immaculate centre both sides. It's fairly uncommon to get one of these classic liassic ammonites completely matrix free. This specimen resided in the late professor GORDON WALKDEN collection. Approximately 200 million years old. |
