description |
|
This exceptionally rare double starfish has tremendous details, especially under magnification. These stunningly preserved starfish are approximately 470 million years old. This famous Ordovician locality hasn't been accessible to the collector for decades now. This specimen was collected in 1969. A small repair runs through the matrix but is not noticeable on the surface. It resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. |
