| description |
|
| Leioceras specimens of this calibre are very rarely seen prepared in this way. This very large example has stunning sutures throughout the ammonite which lies on a lovely piece of 'chunky' matrix which also has a cut base for display purposes. Approximately 176 million years old. This superb zonal ammonite will make a wonderful and important aquisition for either the serious collector or indeed an interior designer looking to achieve that all important edge. Prepared by Andy Cowap. |
