description |
|
A stunning, very large specimen which has a totally complete mouth border. The ammonite has been ground smooth then a professional polish applied to maximise the aesthetics. The keel has deep iron staining at the ventre but this only adds to the beautiful colours. Many hours of preparation has gone into thie unique ammonite approximately, 176 million years old. Very rare size and quality. |
