description |
|
A beautiful display ammonite preserved in solid calcite. The colours are fantastic displaying yellows and browns. These classic zonal ammonites are becoming increasingly scarse to find on this stretch of Jurassic coastline. Many hours of preparation has gone into this super fossil by Andy Cowap. The matrix has a cut and level base for ease of display. Approximately 200 million years old. |
