description |
|
This ammonite is extremely rare in the South West of England and serious collectors will appreciate this. The ammonite itself is preserved in solid Calcite which is different shades of brown. The sutures are very clear and really add to the aesthetics of the piece. We have only seen a handful from this locality. Prepared by Andy Cowap. Approximately 180 million years old. |
