description |
|
This very appealing display fossil would suit the collector or an interior designer. Many hours of preparation has gone into this aesthetic fossil. There are also two Belemnite rostrums (Passaloteuthis paxillosus 69 & 29mm)which really add something special to the highly ribbed ammonite. The Belemnite on the ammonite has been left on a thin piece of rock. Freshwater as a locality is no longer accessible to collect fossils hence they are becoming scarse. The matrix has a level base for ease of display. Approximately 167 million years old. |
