| description |
|
| A marvellous and very rare example of a Brasilia from the world famous Bearreraig locality. The ammonite has been polished on both sides revealing wonderful colourful sutures. The ammonite is solid calcite and shows colours of blues, yellows, greys and cream. Any quality material is now extremely rare from this location due to the lack of erosion and overcollecting over the past thirty years. Having been prepared both sides and polished, this display fossil would grace any office or home space. Approximately 175 million years old. |
