| description |
|
| Only very occasionally will you see a better Strenoceras than this superb example. The ammonite itself was discovered in 1991 during the laying of a drainage ditch. The specimen took many hours to prepare by Andy Cowap and has a perfect centre and a complete mouth border which is also very uncommon for this type of ammonite. A unique and very important Oolithic ammonite for the collector. |
