| Very seldom do you see a Garantiana of this size and quality come on to the open market for sale. This specimen is one of the largest we have ever seen from this famous Oolithic locality. The ammonite lies in a very aesthetic piece of matrix which has a cut and flat base for ease of dislay. The centre of the ammonite is immaculate. Many hours of preparation has gone into this magnificent specimen. Serious collectors will appreciate how rare this ammonite is, especially from this locality. Discovered in 1984 in a fallen block. |
