| description |
|
| A classic rarity from the Bucklandi Zone of North Somerset. Only very few of these highly ribbed ammonites have been discovered from this locality. Collectors of rare Liassic ammonites from the UK will appreciate this solid calcite specimen with a perfect centre. The ammonite itself lies in a piece of hard fossiliferous limestone which has a level base for display options. Approximately 205 million years old. |
