| description |
|
| This exceptionally rare type of Xipheroceras was discovered in 1984 by Andy Cowap whilst collecting after a severe storm that lashed the South Coast. Many hours of preparation has gone into this superb specimen which displays sharp spines and an immaculate centre. The ammonite itself has been prepared in semi relief with a great side view of its spines. The matrix has a cut base for display options. One for the serious collector. Approximately 200 million years old. |
