| description |
|
| This is a massive Heteromorph ammonite which was found on the Holderness coast in a large nodule. The specimen is derived from Speeton which is further up the coast and during the ice age, the specimen has been re-deposited onto the Holderness coast. This is truly a magnificent specimen and is worthy of any fine ammonite collection as an extremely rare and very sought after ammonite. The size of the nodule is 510mm x 450mm and is a very heavy item. During preparation the spines have been uncovered and they are truly magnificent.Super sized images can been seen in showcase fossils. |
