description |
|
This classic iconic Oolithic ammonite is from a locality which is no longer accessible to the collector. Many hours of preparation has gone into this stunning ammonite by Andy Cowap. The ammonite has hundreds of ribs and sharp tubercules towards the centre and the ammonite has been left on a piece of Oolithic matrix during preparation for display purposes. Top quality specimens such as this are highly sought after by collectors and interior designers alike. This magnificent ammonite was discovered in 1989 and is approximately 170 million years old. |
