An incredibly rre lower lias ammonite from Charmouth which has been preserved in solid pyrite and has an immaculate centre. The specimen itself was discovered in November 2015 after heavy seas pounded the cliffs. Both sides have been preserved. An important addition for the serious collector of rare ammonites. Approximately 195 million years old. |
