description |
|
This is one of the rarest ammonites we have ever offered for sale on Fossils Direct and one of only five specimens we know about having been discovered. The ammonite retains its original shell preserved in stunning irridescent colours which include greens, reds, yellows and orange. The specimen itself has preserved all its outer spines which is its key feature. One for the serious collector of incredibly rare UK ammonites. Approximately 155 million years old. |
