| description |
|
| An amazing fossil with magnificent preservation throughout. This stunning ammonite has been preserved in various shades of calcite and has an immaculate centre. Epophioceras are incredibly rare Lower Lias ammonites. This very fine specimen is accompanied by a juvenile Longicella, which is highly aesthetic. Many hours have gone into preparing this fossil by Andy Cowap. The ammonite was discovered in 1979 and has remained unprepared until now. One for the serious collector of very rare Lower Liassic, UK ammonites. |
