description |
|
An incredibly rare upper liassic ammonite especially from this locality. We have only seen around six specimens. The very centre has been restored to the exact shape of a real one. The ammonite's suture pattern is very simple and resembles a Goniatite. One for a serious collector of rare UK ammonites. Most of the localities around this famous area are no longer accessible to the collector and so these beautiful ammonites will soon become collectors items. |
