| description |
|
| This wonderfully preserved multi ammonite piece was discovered from the 'Dead Man's Tree' area of Black Ven in 1979 and has been fully prepared over many hours by Andy Cowap. Multi Asteroceras pieces are very rare to find thesedays, especially top quality ones like this. Ammonites are various shades of calcite and each have an immaculate centre. There is also a small ~Promicroceras pklanicosta preserved which adds even more to the overall aesthetics. This fossil would fit into any top collection. Approximately 200 million years old. |
