| description |
|
| This very rare and beautifully preserved lower lias ammonite has a complete mouthborder and an immaculate centre, most of the shell's spines are intact. The ammonite lies in an aesthetic piece of matrix that has a natural base for upright display. This specimen was discovered in 2013 from a temporary exposure and prepared by Andy Cowap. One for the serious collector of rare UK ammonites. Approximately 200 million years old. |
