| description |
|
| Discovered in 1979 in a small landslip, this Xipheroceras has remained unprepared until now. It is a totally complete shell and has it's mouth border and it's wonderful spines preserved. A very small breach in the shell near the aperture, does not detract from this fantastic spiny ammonite. One for the collector of fine UK ammonites ! Approximately 200 million years old, prepared by Andy Cowap. |
