description |
|
This stunning solid calcite Asteroceras has been prepared both sides by Andy Cowap. The centre is immaculate both sides and the colouration is wonderful. When the ammonite is held up to the light, it becomes transluscent as shown in the images. The ammonoite also sits on its negative/counterpart which is a lovely feature. A real one off specimen of very high quality. Approximately 200 million years old. One for the serious collector!! |
