| description |
|
| Although Dactylioceras are common, excessively large ones like this one are rare. This specimen is in a split nodule and has its counterpart also preserved (A "popper"). This dactylioceras has been beautifully prepared and has an immaculate centre. Quite an exceptional specimen. |
