It is a beautiful, highly calcified ammonite and the outer chambers are broken to reveal small calcite crystals. However, in one of the chambers, is a large and magnificent "Dog tooth" calcite crystal which is very rare and just adds to the aesthetics of this lovely piece. Both mineral and fossil collectors alike would appreciate the rarity and beauty of this piece. |
