| description |
|
| This classic and iconic ammonite was discovered in 1992 and has been professionally cleaned and polished. There is a small repair to the ammonite, however this can't be seen. The ammonite has a good centre and wonderful colours throughout including pink, purple, green, cream and brown. These larger Scunthorpe ammonites are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain thesedays. The ammonite has a very high polish and lies on an aesthetic piece of Frodingham ironstone. One for the collector or indeed an interior designer. Approximately 200 million years old. |
