description |
|
This wonderful example has been split and both sides prepared showing incredible depth and detail with each side. The ammonites are Promicroceras planicosta and have been preserved in solid calcite. Many hours of preparation have gone into this super fossil. High quality pieces prepared in this way are highly sought after, especially from this iconic liassic locality. Approximately 200 million years old. A completely unique fossil and a good investment. |
