description |
|
Probably one of the finest known specimens of this excessively rare English cretaceous ammonite. The specimen was found in boulder clay deposits on the Holderness coast which are derived from Speeton, North Yorkshire. We cannot emphasise enough the rarity and sheer beauty of this matrix free specimen. |
