| description |
|
| The stafish beds of Eype are world famous for the Brittlestars that are preserved in the very fine siltstone. However, occasionally you do find crinoids. This particular specimen has preserved a wonderful and fairly large and complete crinoid showing excellent detail of the crown and its ciri. Also on the same piece, is evidence of further crinoid crowns. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of these sought after Middle Lias crinoids. |
