description |
|
Found in 1963 this exceptionally rare Devonian fish has superb detail throughout and both paddles are complete which is very important to serious collectors. Fossil fish of any completeness from this famous locality are highly prized by collectors worldwide. This fish once resided in a private fossil museum for well over forty years. It has been left in its naive, but charming original frame along with its label. A wonderful acquisition for the collector. Approximately 370 million years old. A classic rarity. |
