| description |
|
| Fossils from this classic London Clay location are becoming increasingly scarse due to lack of erosion and over-burden falling on the fossiliferous beds. This is a superb three dimensional fish head that has been preserved in a hard phosphatic nodule. The fish head exhibits good skull plates as well as jaws whith teeth. A real collectors item and very sought after !! Approximately 50 million years old. |
