description |
|
Preserved in a squared block of white Dover Chalk, comes this fine and more or less fish head with partial body attached. The fish has been preserved in brown calcite and has wonderful detail throughout. The colour contrast is magnificent. Fish fossils from the chalk are incredibly rare and highly sought after amongst collectors. A rare opportunity to acquire an aesthetic chalk fish. |
