description |
|
A stunning highly three dimensional fish skull which has been beautifully preserved in a hard phosphatic nodule. The fish has been preserved "belly up" thus showing the underside of this fish. Preserved are four sets of fins as well as part of the body which is exceptionally rare and very few have been preserved in this beautiful posture. The specimen was collected in the 1970's and has been in the same collection since the day it was found until now. A great opportunity to own a very three dimensional UK fish fossil. |
