description |
|
We at Fossils Direct, try to bring the rare and finest examples to the open market. This is a first for us offering a more or less complete partially three dimensional Lepidotus from the Yorkshire coast. We have never seen an example ever offered on the worldwide web before! Collectors of Yorkshire Coast fossils will appreciate just how rare and fine this specimen is. The fish was acid prepared and then finished by using air abrasive techniques. All four fins are preserved as it is lying on it's back. A statement piece for any collection. Truly exceptional! |
