description |
|
This is an exceptionally large and almost complete gastropod from the world famous Red Crag deposits. The specimen has a wonderful red tinge which is so characteristic of this material. There has been restoration to one side of the shell which was probably done in the Victorian times as this is from a very old collection. A stunning specimen that rarely comes on the market for open sale!! |
