| description |
|
| This tremendous specimen was discovered in 1964 and was used a a teaching aid in Manchester Museum until it was exchanged in 1981, where it's resided ever since in the late professor GORDON WALKDEN collection. To go with this wonderful fossil is a modern day Neptunea for comparison, this has its operculum preserved. Walton-on-the-Naze is a classic fossil locality which is no longer accessible to the collector. Approximately 3 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
